RHONDA KATZ has a remarkable talent for communication.  She tackles the tough issues – sex, parenting and money – just some of the hot button topics we all want to know more about.
Her advice has brought countless Canadians greater awareness about how to take care of themselves, their loved ones and their finances.

She delves into the challenges of money matters, successful retirement and healthy relationships with partners, parents and children, improved body image and emotional wellness.

Based in Toronto, Ms. Katz is a psychotherapist, consultant, speaker, columnist and broadcaster. Rhonda has a Masters in Applied Psychology and Counselling BA in Psychology and a minor in Theatre Arts & Speech.  Currently she specializes in professional development and is a motivational speaker.

Her 36 years of practice have consisted of encouraging communication and effective life-skills through counselling individuals, couples and families. As well, Ms Katz has hosted her own radio show, delivered keynote addresses and offered seminar facilitation.  A frequent guest on radio and television shows, she showcases her wit and passionate understanding of human interactions.

RHONDA KATZ‘s expertise has attracted numerous corporate clients.  During the holiday season of 2006 Rhonda completed a media tour for Environics’s Communication and their client eBay Canada speaking on the conclusions of the “eBay Merry Meltdown Report”. Earlier that year she was the media spokesperson across Canada for MacKenzie Financial “Burn Rate Campaign” speaking on how Canadians spend their money. She’s been a familiar voice on the radio as host and producer of live call-in shows focusing on relationships and mental health including “Help Me Rhonda” heard on CFRB and CKFM 99.99 radio and “The 11:00 Sex Report” on Energy 108.
She has been a featured guest and panelist on radio & television discussing a myriad of issues, appearing on CTV Canada AM, TVO Studio 2, CityLine, Breakfast Television. CFTO. CHCH, WTN, Discovery Health, Life Network, Jane Hawtin Live, CBC Metro Morning, CHUM FM, 640 AM, The Camilla Scott Show among others.
Her insights have appeared in Chatelaine, Montreal Gazette,  Toronto Star, Toronto Sun, Globe and Mail, Today’s Parent and her column, “Ask Rhonda” ran in Ingenue, a Maclean Hunter Publication, She was also a writer and consultant for a Trimark publication series, “You and Your Family Talking About Money”.

In recent years Ms. Katz has facilitated psychological and parenting seminars at the Manitou Health & Fitness Weekend in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Workshops included seminars on “Sex is Good”, “Enhancing the Power Within”, “Loving and Living With Your Teenager” and “Try and Make Me: Parenting Young Children”. In late 2008 and into 2009, under contract with Environics Communications, Rhonda conducted all media interviews for eBay Canada in their research on "Homesickness".

In November 09 Rhonda happily worked as a consultant for Environics Communication on the subject of Erectile Dysfunction and Drug Therapy. In January 2010 she worked for H2Central Communications as a workshop facillator for their client, ING Bank, conducting three 2-hour seminars for supervisors and call centre operators on Effective Communication. This past summer she was interviewed by CTV news on the research of "Real vs Viral Friendships" and the news story of "Woman who Faked Cancer for Money". 

Rhonda is active in volunteer work, some of which includes: 17 years Education Docent and Gallery Guide at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AG0), former Board member of Planned Parenthood of Toronto, former Board Member of Canadian Women in Communications Toronto chapter.

Ms. Katz has a Masters of Applied Psychology and Counselling from the University of Toronto, an Honours B.A. Psychology and Theatre Arts & Speech from McMaster University magna cum laude, and a Certificate in Radio & Television Broadcast from Ryerson Polytechnic University. She studied Family Therapy at The Interfaith Pastoral Counselling Centre in Kitchener, Gestalt Therapy at the Toronto Gestalt Institute, Sexual Therapy at McMaster University, Bioenergetic Psychoanalysis, Bach Flower Remedies and Mindfulness-Based Stress reduction.

On Oct. 18, 2012, I had the pleasure to MC  the 1st Charity Casino Night for Nanny Angel, a unique service that provides relief childcare for mothers undergoing cancer treatment. It was a large event of over 250 people at the Warehouse and raised over $60,000.00.
On May 8, 2014, as a Board Member for the Nanny Angel Network, I co-chaired their fundraiser for 350 people.
